The papers include working drawings for St. Paul's Episcopal Church on the Hill (Saint Paul, 1912), blueprints for the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer (Marshall, Minn., 1915), copies of a floor plan, a perspective and an elevation for the Cathedral of St. Paul (Saint Paul, 1905-15), and an original signed watercolor painting, "A Windy Morning, Bay of Fundy", (1892).

Masqueray was born in Dieppe, France and studied architecture at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, 1879-1884. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1887, and worked for Carrere & Hastings for five years, when he joined Richard Morris Hunt's firm and designed Vanderbilt's "The Breakers" in Newport, R.I. Masqueray joined the Warren & Wetmore office in 1897, but left that in 1901 for appointment of Chief of Design of the Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis.
